Shipping policy

FREE SHIPPING EXCLUSIONS:
Free shipping doesn’t apply to ‘Oversized’ items, including foam play mats and wooden play pens. Shipping for these items will be calculated at checkout based on the final package weight, dimensions, and delivery postcode.
Additionally, due to the size and weight of larger items and transport costs to regional areas, free shipping doesn’t apply to Rural and Remote postcodes. Refer to the above table for rates.
PROCESSING TIME:
Orders placed via Express and Standard shipping will be dispatched the same business day if placed before 12 pm AEST or the next business day if placed after 12pm AEST. During busy periods, promotional events and sales there may be delays on the dispatch of your order.
POSSIBLE DELAYS:
We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, please bear in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On a rare occasion, your order can arrive outside of the estimated timeframe. For rural areas across Australia there may be further delays to our delivery timeframes. TRACKING YOUR ORDER:
You can track your order via our shipping confirmation email. If you do not receive your tracking details, please contact our team directly at customercare@themuseedition.com
CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER:
If you need to change or cancel your order please contact our team straight away by emailing customercare@themuseedition.com.
We unfortunately cannot make any changes or cancel your order once it has been processed by our team, however we will do our best to assist if there has been a mistake.
PRE-ORDER SHIPPING:
Pre-order items will be processed like a normal order but shipped at a later date. Date will be specified on the product page, and you will receive a confirmation once your order has been shipped.
For orders that contain an in-stock item/s your order will be held and shipped together. If you would like the in-stock item sent first, please email us at customercare@themuseedition.com. Please note this may incur an additional shipping fee.
RURAL SHIPPING AREAS:
Due to the size and weight of larger items and transport costs to regional areas, a Rural and Remote Shipping rate applies to certain postcodes. These shipments do not qualify for free shipping on orders over $250. Refer to the above table for rates.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE:
Our padded foam mats require a signature upon delivery. If you will not be available to sign for your package you can select the Authority To Leave option. If this option is selected, the courier will not require a signature for delivery and will leave the parcel in a safe place if no one is home. The Muse Edition will not be held liable for any stock loss if Authority To Leave is selected and proof of delivery has been provided from our courier.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES:
The Muse Edition will take no responsibility for lost or stolen packages once a tracking number has been provided for your order. If your parcel goes missing, you will be required to lodge a formal complaint as the owner of the parcel with Australia Post. If you have entered the incorrect address for delivery, your parcel will be delivered back to us, and we can re-ship to the correct address at an additional shipping cost.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOM TAXES:
As an international customer (outside of Australia), please be aware that your home country may charge you import taxes and customs duties when the order arrives at the country of destination. These duties and taxes are required to be paid by the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate of these fees.
